About Me

I've always been a fan of history and great stories. I like my history straight with no chasers. My personal experiences and misleading information about race relations and history have led me to write and publish prolific historical works from the 1800s that address the African American experience.  

Author of Our Two Societies -- 2017 Best Indie Book Award winner for non-fiction and 5.0 out of 5 stars Award-Winning B.R.A.G.Medallion Honoree.  I grew up in one of Detroit, Michigan's worst neighborhoods and one of its best. I've lived the life of an urban American, a university student, an exchange student in Japan, an ex-pat in Japan, a Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark law school graduate, and a small recruiting business owner. I also have a youtube channel called The Broke Capitalist.
